Our support workers are the heroes of our story. They are passionate about providing the best possible care to the people we support and positively impacting their lives. We value our support workers and make every effort to create a safe and happy workplace for them that promotes success.

We understand that the well-being of our support workers directly impacts the quality of care they provide, therefore, we prioritize their safety and happiness. Through regular training, mentorship, and access to necessary resources, we ensure that our support workers are equipped with the knowledge and tools to excel in their roles. Additionally, we foster a culture of respect, open communication, and recognition where each one feels valued and heard. By championing supportive policies and practices, we create a space where manageable workloads and access to the right support and care are not just ideals but fundamental aspects of our commitment to the well-being of our support workers.

What Benefits Do We Offer to Our Support Workers?

At our organisation, it all starts with giving our people a voice by being heard and valued for their efforts and skills. This is something we approach with great responsibility and understanding. Caring for their well-being and mental health is our focus. We always aim to create an environment where our support workers can be the best versions of themselves.

For support workers to feel valued and recognised, we offer benefits and awards to all our support workers. Here are some of the benefits we provide for our support workers:

  • Free training for our support workers

We offer free training covering our required and necessary individual training courses. 

  • Financial Aid

In times of emergency, we provide financial help to our support workers. This help is based on their ability to repay. It provides support through hardship and challenging life circumstances. We want to ensure that our support workers feel cared for and secure.

  • Referral Scheme

This scheme is a financial benefit. A bonus. It is for our actively working support workers who refer a new applicant or nurse to our company. 

  • Car Share Scheme 

This is the perfect scheme if you are currently without a car or don’t drive. Here, every lift counts! 

  • Field Care Coach

The good news is that we now have a field care coach. The coach will visit the support workers’ locations to provide them with coaching support. They will also get the opportunity to give feedback (positive or negative). This is all made to show the effectiveness of our support worker’s work and guide them in the right direction.

  • An Employee of the Month 

The support worker who wins will receive Employee of the Month certificates. Also, a CCG goodie bag filled with CCG merchandise is given by the field care coach.

  • An Employee of the Year

This reward is selected based on Employee of the Month nominations, client feedback, and the support worker’s work over the last 12 months.

  • Paid day-off

We pay our support workers to take a day off when we notice they are close to burnout. A pre-paid Mastercard will be given for a 12-hour shift as an HCA or RMN.

  • Client feedback

Client feedback allows our support workers to be recognised by satisfied clients with vouchers. Their dedicated individual work or teamwork is what counts. 

  • Coffee Mornings

Support workers suspended from their jobs due to an injury, maternity leave, or struggles with mental health can enjoy coffee mornings. These mornings are designed to make them feel valued and heard. We travel to a location of their choosing and buy them coffee on us. We offer them the chance to express their worries or emotions.
